    The 3rd annual Boxerstock music festival will be held on Sunday, October 24 from 12-7pm at Jim Miller Park in Marietta to benefit Atlanta Boxer Rescue. This is a family-friendly, dog-friendly event. Boxerstock features some of Atlanta’s top musical acts plus family entertainment and fun!  Also, they are offering reduced fee micro-chipping services for your pets, pet-related products and a silent auction. Tickets are $10, with a discount for children, students & military personnel.

    “Indie Market at Manchester Street” will be hosted at the amazing Habersham Gardens in Atlanta, GA.  Come over on Sat, Oct 2nd from 10A to 6PM.  There will be 15 artists & crafters set-up outside in the garden center located at 2067 Manchester St (off Cheshire Bridge). This is an American Craft Week event!

    Each artist is donating a portion of their sales to a great organization Pets Are Loving Support (PALS). PALS provides pet-care including free food and basic veterinary care, and support to the companion pets of critically ill and disabled Atlantans. PALS will be on site hosting a BAKE SALE to raise additional funds http://www.palsatlanta.org

    The Yumbii Food Truck will make an appearance from 1-3p, so all you foodies can enjoy a great lunch!  And don’t forget to shop all the incredible new plant materials available for your gardening pleasure! It will be a day of big FUN!

    Michelle Mardis will be showing her amazing dog portraits this weekend at the Midtown Festival of the Arts. They festival is shutting down Peachtree St between 5th & 10th St this Saturday & Sunday (Sep 25th & 26th) to set up the festival. Artist Market hours are Sat 10a-7p & Sun 11a-6p.  Go by & say hello to Michelle and see some of her fabulous artwork!

    Atlantic Station presents a great movie for pet-lovers on Thursday Aug 19th (and again on Friday Aug 20th*, during the BarkWorld Conference). “Best in Show” will start a dusk (around 8PMish) and is projected on a giant screen in the Central Park area.  The movie is FREE,  so come over and hang out with all your dog lovin’ friends, and see this hilarious  film!  Bring a picnic lunch or come early to check-out one of the great restaurants in the complex.

    *Bring your picnic basket, pets, and blankets for a special showing of two pet-friendly movies “Best in Show” & “My Dog” (documentary).

    I hope you can make it out this Sat (May 1st) for the Pet Parade in Piedmont Park. It is the Atlanta Humane Society’s largest fundraising event and all proceeds directly benefit the shelter’s homeless animals. Lots of fun activities…I’ll have a booth there (along with with Big Daddy Biscuits) and would love to see you! The event is from 9AM-1PM.

    I hope you can join us this Saturday in Piedmont Park for the Bark For Life event! (March 13th, from 9-Noon).  Big Daddy Biscuits & Rub My Belly will be at this event with treats for sale, and look forward to seeing you and your furry friends there!

    Bark for Life offers the entire community an opportunity to actively engage with the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer.   Bark For Life honors our canine companions.  These important furry family members offer us joy, security, and compassion, while supporting the life-saving mission of the American Cancer Society.

    There will be: A Blessing of the Animals, a Canine Relay Walk (must pre-register).   Some other activities and fun for all: Games, Exhibitions, Caricatures, Contests, Entertainment, Food, Programs & Vendors.
